Obituary for Shelly Lee Cal

Shelly Cal- 63 passed away suddenly on March 9, 2024. She was born June 4, 1960 in Lillooet BC to her loving parents Louella and Edward Lonsdale. Shelly loved to love people. Her mind was rarely still as she was always offering hands of kindness to everyone and venturing out to her grand kids activities! Shelly shared her love for shopping and fine dining with her family and always going above to support the people of this community! Shelly never hesitated to share her love of food with her children and of course her grandchildren sneaking in the opportunity to order up some Chinese or stopping at the Dairy Queen for a box of the dili’s!
For many years, Shelly dedicated her kindness to her community- never missing a beat to help beyond traditional work hours- Chairing committees locally and offering support always.! Shelly was well known for going above and beyond but more for her kindness overall! Her life was a living example of the verse, Ephesians 4:32 - " And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."
Shelly is survived by her partner Rocky, her son DJ and his children - Gunner, Ryker, and Lucinda , her daughter Tara (Jon), and their three children Ashur, Kalayha, and Oaklyn, and her little sister Ranee (Orland) and their sons
Levi (Jessica - their children- Ryann, Kenzie, & Wylder) and Chevy (Kelsey ), and also her nephew Shawn (Tasha- their two boys, Rider &Fisher) and her niece Nikita (McKenzie) and her two boys- Kaden and Chance and of course her cousins and our extended loved ones and in laws.
Shelly loved and touched her people deeply.
