Doreen Elizabeth Harley (nee Dempster) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the age of 83 years in the Tisdale Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends. Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her Husband: Warren, Children: Bradley (Glenys), Debby (Ted), Lyle (Debbie), and Brenda (Don), 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, Brothers: Russel (Val), Gordon (Iris), John (Lynell) and Sister: Laurel (Blaine), as well as numerous other relatives. Doreen is predeceased by her Parents: Joe and Alice, Sister: Eleanor Cairns, and Son-in-law: Dave Sokulski.
Doreen was born on March 3, 1939, in Kincaid, Saskatchewan, the oldest of 6 children. She attended school in Hazenmore, Pinto Creek, Creston B.C, and completed her schooling in Carragana. Doreen married Warren on April 5, 1957, in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. Doreen loved helping Warren in the garden, looking after her flower beds, and sitting in the bug house. Doreen enjoyed watching the Blue Jays and in the winter she enjoyed watching curling, as well she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and baking. Doreen and Warren also enjoyed a few trips to the states with their friends, and many years were spent at the cabin at Marean Lake. They started their marriage in Lynn Lake, Manitoba where all their kids were born. They moved to Archerwill in 1974, and have resided there since then. They celebrated 65 years of marriage on April 5 of this year.

Mom would like to thank the community of Archerwill for being a great place to live, where she made many lifelong friends.
