Obituary for Keith Larwood

Keith Larwood
Ellis "Keith" Larwood was born May 3, 1933 to parents Herbert and Pearl Larwood in Tisdale, Sk. His first 10 years were spent on the farm that is still in the family just west of town. The family then moved into town where his Dad was part owner of the general store. Keith was not fond of school and dropped out in Grade 10. He spent one winter in B.C. working in the bush then returned home and began farming: a life he loved for the rest of his years.
Keith and Patricia Hodge were married July 23, 1954 and they raised 4 children, Bryon, Sharon, Don and David. Keith and Pat spent their lives devoted to the family and farm and his most favorite time over the years was the times his growing family was "home”.
Tending his earth, his farm animals, gardening, cutting firewood and providing a comfortable life for his family meant he was never bored. Keith was a very talented violin player and in later years he and Pat joined others in entertaining and dancing on a regular basis at senior homes and small town dance venues.
Keith's faith and church were very important to him and he spent many hours studying the Bible to understand the plan and to live the life his God expected.
Predeceased in death by his parents, Herbert and Pearl Larwood, Sister and brother-in-law, Doreen and Marvin Sorochuk, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Agnes and Glen Hodge, brother-in-law and sister-in-law ,Dale and Lorraine Hodge, daughter in law Marj Larwood, grandson Deryk McCabe, and his lifelong friends Orin Quale and Jim Armitage as well as numerous friends and neighbors who were very important to him.
