Obituary for
Cherry Catherine Dobrowolski
Cherry, or as we all knew her by, “Sherry” was born in Porcupine Plain to parents Joe & Elsie Dobrowolski. Sherry lived a very full and active life on the farm and was taught how to be self sufficient, how to look after a home & had a part-time job at the drugstore while still in her parents care. After their passing, Sherry lived on her own for a few years and prided herself having a full time job at the laundromat through the Porcupine Opportunities Program for many years. She kept that laundromat spic and span! If you didn’t leave things the way you found them, you definitely heard about it & would even get shot a dirty look your way! Sherry was predeceased by her parents Joe & Elsie, a brother in infancy & her favourite sister Ann Serhan. Sherry leaves to cherish her memory brothers Bob (Illa), Guy (Cathy), her favourite brother-in-law Ernest Serhan, a niece, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, & SO many friends, all who will be remembering Sherry while playing her favorite card game of Fire or when someone yells “dog pile” at a family function. The family acknowledges all the fine love and care that Sherry received during her last few years living at Alex Bloski Manor & working at the POP Shop. They are all considered family & are appreciated more than they know.
Gone but never forgotten. RIP “Cherry Pie”.
