Obituary for Mary 'Bernie' Benedicta Ricard (Lambert)

Mary Benedicta Ricard known to many as “Bernie” was born June 3, 1942 in Melville, SK to parents Rebecca Elizabeth (Simard) and Joseph Girard Lambert. Bernie grew up and received her education in Flin Flon, MB.
Bernie met Raymond Ricard and the couple were married on October 31, 1964 and raised four children: Russell, Denise, Raymond Jr. and Gene.
Bernie was a devoted wife and mother who very much enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting and she loved her Bingo!! Bernie was also a very social person who enjoyed visiting with all who entered her life.
Bernie was predeceased by her husband Raymond Ricard; parents Elizabeth and Joseph Lambert; sisters Theresa Thompson and Deborah Lambert; brothers Albert and Louis Lambert; step-great grandson Jordan; in-laws: Cecile (Ray) Trottier, Joe Ricard, Denise (Ricard) Gebhardt and Henri Ricard.
Left to cherish Bernie’s memory are her children: Russell (Carol) Ricard, Denise (Redge) Watt, Raymond Ricard Jr., Gene (Kathy) Ricard; grandchildren: Dominique (Mark), Marc (Wendy), Jenna (Lane), Chris (Kristin), Robyn (Justin), Raelyn (Nicole) Jarrit, Kaitlynn (Peter); great-grandchildren: Miah, Brix, Madison, Kade, Kinley, Luther and Olive; sisters: Cathy Lambert, Margaret Norowski; brothers: Michael (Debbie) Lambert, Joseph Lambert, Myles Clarke; in laws: Therese (Kees) Verver, Marie (Eugene) Blahut, Agnes (Peter) Lewellin, Robert Gebhardt; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.


Those wishing, may make memorial donations to the Hudson Bay Health Care Facility, Diabetes Canada or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.
