Benny Eng, died peacefully at home on July 30, 2010 after a brief
but courageous battle with cancer. Benny was born in 1927, at
Duncan, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his parents and
his daughter Marion. He moved to Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan in
1951. Benny was a natural businessman and began many
successful businesses over the years but he will be remembered
best for his cooking skills. In 1975, he retired from the restaurant
business and was able to spend more time golfing and curling.
Benny remained a strong supporter of the Hudson Bay community
until his passing.
Benny is lovingly remembered by his wife Alice, his children,
and his grandchildren. Benny will be remembered for his friendly
nature, never without a laugh or smile, and he leaves many friends
behind.
