Obituary for Zoltan Barna
Zoltan (Zolie) Barna, was born November 13, 1937 on the family farm near Hoey, SK to Joseph and Elizabeth Barna. He grew up in Hoey and Mistatim and received his education in Mistatim area. Zolie Married Violet Soroka on September 3, 1960. To this union, Steven and Debbie were born. Throughout his life Zolie did construction work. He was a member of the Mistatim Lions Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, doing yard work, and spending time with his family.
Zolie is survived by; his son Steven (Leslie), his daughter Debbie, his grandchildren: Dustin, Jason (Brianne), Chantel (Skylar), Bryce (Emilie), Shawn (Brittany) and Alysha (Harley); his great grandchildren: Tristan, Eliza, Harrison, Landon, Natayah, Clara and Elise; his sisters-in-law Marlene Smytaniuk (Ed Robinson) and Iris (Lorne) Pegg; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Zolie was predeceased by; his parents Joseph and Elizabeth, his wife Violet, his sisters: Jolane, Pauline and Isabel; his brothers: Bill, Julius, Joseph Jr. and his in-laws Roman and Annie Soroka.
Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Blairs Funeral Home Ltd. Porcupine Plain, SK. (306) 278-2202.
