Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael "Mac" Grywacheski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Michael "Mac" Marvin Grywacheski

Michael (Mac) Grywacheski was born March 10, 1941 at Hudson Bay Junction, Saskatchewan to parents Walter and Mary Grywacheski.
He lived his entire life on the farm at Doncrest, Saskatchewan. He received his education at Nixonville School, which was a mile west of where he lived.
On December 28th, 1961 he married Dorreen Harris of Bertwell, Saskatchewan. Together they had three children, Tim, Holly, and Violet.
They farmed, raising cattle and grain, and he worked winters in the bush falling timber. When the kids got older, he found time for his favourite sport baseball. He played Twilight Baseball for 20 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter - 1958, Mary -1990, brother Henry-1993. Sisters Grace Ewen of Kelowna, B.C. and Liz Trifunovich of Quesnel, B.C. Infant granddaughter in 1989, brothers in law Harold Ewen, Roy Trifunovich, Norman Harris, Allen Harris, and George Siery. Sisters in law Betty Siery and Elsie Grywacheski. Father in-law Robert Harris and Mother in-law Violet Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorreen, son Tim, daughters Holly (Jim) Cooper, Violet (Dave) Mamczasz. Grandchildren Rikki (Danny) Racette, Haylee(Ryan) Eckstein, Taylor Mamczasz, Megan Mamczasz. Great grandchildren Cooper & Parker Racette, Raidon & Nixon Eckstein, Sister-in-law Priscilla Harris and numerous nieces and nephews.
