The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ross Arthur can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Though we were unable to attend today, due to weather, our thoughts and our hearts are with you. May the love and support of family and friends in the days and weeks to come, help ease the pain. Condolence From: Trevor Black - the older
Condolence: To the Arthur family and extended families, please accept my heartfelt sympathy during this sad time.

I liked and respected Mr. Arthur - he was quick to smile, he was a firm, yet fair, principal, and he was an excellent teacher. I can vividly remember him teaching us about the Crow's Nest Pass freight rate in Social Studies. Imagine...Mr. Arthur made a rail freight subsidy enacted in 1897 interesting enough that I remember his explanation 36 years later!

After I graduated, Mr. Arthur asked me to call him Ross. He was always Mr. Arthur to me, though.

You will be missed, Mr. Arthur; rest in peace, Ross.
