Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cecil Brousseau can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Cecil Robert Brousseau

Cecil Robert Brousseau was born June 8th, 1952 in Melfort, SK to parents Evelyn and William Brousseau. Cecil spent most of his younger year in Hudson Bay, SK, where he received is Grade 10 education.
On October 21st, 1995, Cecil married Marilyn Genaille.
Cecil spend many years logging wood with Haytor Logging. He also worked as a firefighter for Natural Resources for seasonal employment. For the last 10 years, Cecil has working for the Town of Hudson Bay; Cutting grass and taking care of the Hudson Bay Arena.
Cecil enjoyed playing guitar, singing and playing cards. He also loved reading books, driving around and spending time with family and friends.
Cecil was predeceased by his parents William and Evelyn Brousseau; sisters Beverley Brousseau and Cindy Dreaver; in-laws Martha Genaille and George Ducharme; brothers-in-law: Henry Highway, Arthur Genaille, Leon Genaille, David Genaille, and Jim Atkinson. Cecil is survived by his wife Marilyn Brousseau; sister Mary Highway; brother Donald Brousseau and Wayne Brousseau; in-laws: Vergina Atkinson, Guy (Sally) Potan, Walter (Sandra) Ducharme, Edward (Alice) Ducharme, George (Thelma) Ducharme, Gary (Marlene) Genaille, Richard (Alec) Ducharme, Eileen (Doug) Chamberland; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
