Obituary for Marie A. E. Wizniak (Campbell)

Marie Arnola Ernestine (Campbell) Wizniak was born on February 23 1940 at Hudson Bay Junction, Saskatchewan to parents William Colin Campbell and Hazel Amanda (Mcbride) Campbell. Marie grew up and went to school in the Clemenceau area until the age of 15 and then moved to Hudson Bay in search of work.
Marie was married in October 12 of 1964 to Donald Alvin Wizniak. To this union three children were born: Kimberly Christine (Rucks) Wizniak, Jody Donald Wizniak, and Lonnie Robert Wizniak.
Marie's employment started at the Hudson Bay Dairy. She also worked as a Nurses Aid in The Pas, Manitoba at the T.B. Sanatorium, and later at the Hudson Bay Union Hospital. In her later years Marie started a painting business and was self employed until she was forced to retire due to arthritis in 1990.
Marie loved to be active and was a volunteer for many years with minor hockey, and many will remember her at the popcorn machine during the hockey games. She was also an active member of the United Church Women’s Axillary, and a member of the Local TOPS group.
Marie's greatest pleasure came from spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her greatest hobby was working in her yard, tending to her flowers and plants. She found great joy being around people and love to entertain, and had a lifelong passion for golfing, music and dance.
Marie was predeceased by her parents Bill and Hazel Campbell, and by brothers-in-law: Ken Kinch and Frank Foraie.
She is lovingly survived by her husband Don Wizniak, children: Kim &Tim Rucks, Jody & Brenda Wizniak, and Lonnie & Juanita Wizniak, her grandchildren: Brandon John McAree Wizniak, Holly Marie Wizniak, Joshua Donald Wizniak, Jordyn Amanda Rucks, Taylor Christine Rucks, Regan Lauren Rucks, Luke Darcy Wizniak, and Jake Robert Wizniak, her sisters: Doreen Kinch and Bernice Foraie, brother Mervin (Nola) Campbell, brothers-in-law Jim (Lena) Wizniak, Morris (Anita) Wizniak, and Ron (Linda) Wizniak, sister-in-law Marcella (Perry) Savoie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
