Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jessie Binkley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jessie Clinton Binkley was born on January, 17th 1984 in Moosejaw Saskatchewan to parents Connie and Bill Binkley. Jessie was the oldest of their three children. Jess grew up in the Weekes and Hudson Bay area. Jess received his education in Hudson Bay and at SIAST in Moosejaw Saskatchewan for welding.

Jessie married Claudine (CJ) Somers on August, 30th 2014 in Hudson Bay SK. They met online in early 2013. CJ from Edmonton, Ab moved with Jessie to Hudson Bay in November 2013.They resided on an acreage South of Hudson Bay in the Etomami area until October 2022 when they moved into the Town of Hudson Bay after purchasing their first home, where he resided until his death on Wednesday, January 11th 2023.

Jessie enjoyed throwing darts, gardening, fishing, camping, quadding, snowmobiling, playing ball, curling, hockey and was an avid hunter. Playing cards and playing with his nephews and nieces are what made him most happy. Having a social drink and good conversation was never refused by Jess as he was a great storyteller and loved to chat.

Jessie was predeceased by his Father Bill, Grandfather Mervyn, Grandmother Margaret (Peggy) and his cousin Ronald Dzikowski. He is survived by his wife CJ, his Mother Connie; brother Philip (Shelby) and sister Brandi (Todd), nephew’s Beau and Xavier, niece’s Jody and Maggie. Jessie will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
