Caroline Josephine  Kistner
Caroline Josephine Desmarais Kistner was born on August 14, 1943 to Julia and Robert Desmarais on the homestead 19-42-12 W2nd. She was raised on the family farm in the Pre St. Marie district. Caroline received her education at the Barrierville School in Pre St. Marie, and her first job was at the local coffee shop in Tisdale, SK.

Caroline met Elmer Kistner and they were married on May 27, 1961 at Pre St. Marie. They had four children: Richard Allen, 1962; Leona Joan, 1964; Blaine Evan, 1968; and Dianne Marie, 1972.

Caroline and Elmer began their life together on the family farm at Pre St. Marie, and in 1978 they moved to the Pringleton area where they resided until their retirement.

Caroline enjoyed curling, fishing, working with the Air Cadets, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Caroline was predeceased by her husband Elmer, mother Julia, father Robert, sisters Mary and Eleanor, brothers Herb and Dave, daughter-in-law Rita, son-in-law Carl, brother's-in-law Frank, Ben, Bob, and Bruce. sister's-in-law Gladys, Debbie, and Mary.

Caroline is survived by her children Richard (Wendy), Leona (Ron), Blaine (Frances), and Dianne (Gerald). Brothers Eldon, Gary (Marilyn), Bob, Sister's-in-law Marlene and Emily, grand children Alicia (Shane), Amy (Cole), Rylan, Carla, Krystal (Malcolm), Tyrrell (Chantel), William. Jeremy, great grandchildren Hayden, Dallas, Brogan, Lucas, Oaklynn and Ryder, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
