Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lucille Chimko can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Lucille Diane Chimko

Lucille Diane  Chimko
Lucille was born on August 30, 1955 in Porcupine Plain. Sask. She was the second child born to Mac & Joyce Chimko between older sister Janice, and younger brother Neal.
She attended school at Pringelton until it closed in 1962, when she began school in Chelan. Her high school years were spent at PPCHS in Porcupine Plain.
She had many occupations during her lifetime, childcare worker, restaurant worker, educational assistant,care giver and nanny. Her most important job however, was mother to Barry & Karen, and grandma to Zackery, Jesse , William and Evolet.
Lucille was a talented artist and painted many pictures for friends and family to enjoy. She enjoyed hunting with her father and family and spending time at her cabin. Lucille loved nature, being outdoors, fishing and hiking.
Her house was often filled with family & friends and plenty of good food and good fun!
Lucille is survived by her sister Janice (Rob) Carleton of Regina, brother Neal (Kim) Chimko of Chelan, her son Barry (Danielle) Smith of Star City, her daughter Karen (Landon) Welter of Roestown, her grandchildren Zack, Jesse , 'Liam and Evolet, along with many nieces and nephews.
