Obituary for Faye Irma Johnson (Hack)

Faye Irma Johnson (Hack)
Faye Irma Johnson (Hack) was born on November 11, 1946 in the Robson Valley in the town of McBride, British Columbia.
Her parents were Hein and Irene Hack. She grew up on a picturesque dairy farm on the banks of the Fraser River 6 miles out of McBride, British Columbia. It was there she went to primary school and followed this by continuing her education at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
Faye met Harvey in McBride and they were married there on August 24, 1968. They had two sons Lorne and Kim.
Faye was fortunate enough to be a teacher originally in Quesnel, British Columbia, then in Prince George, British Columbia. She was also a school guidance counsellor. Then her and Harvey decided to change career paths and take on the adventure of ranching in Northeastern, Saskatchewan at the Swan River Ranch. This is where her love of the outdoors, nature, animals, and family held her. This includes ranching in Saskatchewan through the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Then she moved with the family to continue ranching, taking on a new adventure in the Peace River Country of Northwest Alberta in Valleyview. Finally, a return to Hudson Bay country to continue ranching and to be near their grandchildren that she loved so much.
Throughout her career she continued her hobbies which were gardening, travelling, and of course making time for people.
Faye is predeceased by; her parents Hein and Irene Hack, and her Father-In-Law Harry Johnson.
Faye is survived by; Her husband Harvey Johnson, Sons: Lorne, Kim (Stacey) Johnson, Grandchildren: Ty and Mya Johnson, Mother-In-law, Marjorie Johnson, Brother and sisters-in-law: Don and Val Campbell, Kirby and Marie Wolstenholme, Donny and Eldora Croswell, Gordon and Maureen Johnson, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and many others.
