She was such a great person who always had a smile on her face but her knowledge was so powerful it made me look up to her and wish that one day I would have the love of a community like she did with Hudson Bay.

Elvina was always willing to help and share her kind heart. Forty five years ago you both were so kind to share your new home and celebrate our special day by allowing us to have our wedding photos taken in your living room! Every time we came back to Hudson Bay to visit, she would always take time to say hi and see how we were all doing. We will remember and cherish those memories forever. Dear Ernie, Lonnie, Pam, Teena and Tanya and families,
We were so sorry to hear of Elvina’s passing. Our memories of Elvina go back to Mac Blo days when we first moved to Hudson Bay and she was in the office at the mill. One of the first people we met and we must say one of the friendliest and even then she was promoting Hudson Bay as a place to live, work and raise a family. We have many fond memories of Elvina and she always had time for a chat and most often had this huge smile to greet you. She treated everyone like they were her family and had the respect of all the employees at the mill. She will truly be missed by many of us who had the privilege to have known her. Even when we visited in Yuma on holidays she was promoting Hudson Bay, giving out pins and pens to everyone she met. She was a super lady and a great friend. Ernie and family, Bob and I send our deepest condolences to all of you, we are thinking of you and your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
