Obituary for Peter John Zagrobelny

Peter John Zagrobelny
It is with great sadness, we say goodbye to Peter after the sudden passing of our son, brother, uncle, and friend. Peter “Pete” was born in Tisdale along with his twin brother Paul and lived in Hudson Bay throughout his entire life. Pete loved the outdoors and felt such peace and happiness in his camper at the lake, fishing and enjoying nature. It brought him great joy, especially when he could share his passion with good friends and his family. It was his true happy place for him and was his second home.
Pete was a kind and gentle soul who would do anything to help, asking nothing in return. He loved his work family and enjoyed helping people get their machines back on the trials, roads, and lakes, and he was a whiz with the wrench.
After a day at work, Pete enjoyed spending time at home working on his own vehicles and spending time with his cat Porcha whom he treasured and loved dearly. A successful life is one you live doing what you love to do everyday and Pete had it figured out. Pete was a man of few words, but his clear, simple and honest way of talking is what endeared so many to him. He often said “The Sun is Shining, The Grass Is Green, Life Is Great!” Pete knew what the real important things in life were, avoided all the other distractions, and ended each day content and successfully.
His family would sincerely like to thank all those who knew Pete through his time in this life and ask you say a small prayer wishing him farewell as he heads to his next journey. Pete’s service will take place at a later date so all family may say their goodbye’s.
Pete was pre-deceased by his father Michael Zagrobelny and is survived by his mother Pauline Palamar, Brother Orest (Olga) Zagrobelny, Brian (Donna) Chomyszyn, Michael (Rosemary) Zagrobelny, Paul (Cheryl) Zagrobelny, Sisters Carol (Donald) Veller, Veronica (David) Billy, Jean Lewis (Vern Procychyn), Joan (Garth) Kalin, Many nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and great nephews. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Blair’s Funeral Home Ltd. 306-865-3330.
