Obituary for Clifford Logan

Clifford was born February 4, 1930 in Margo, Saskatchewan to Lloyd and Bella Logan, the oldest of six siblings.

He married Joyce Hamel on October 30, 1950 at Prelate, Saskatchewan. They made their home in the High Tor District and raised four children: Clinton (1952), Cindy (1954), Phyllis (1956) and Kevin (1959).

Clifford worked at a variety of jobs over his lifetime, including logging, family saw mill, working for Porcupine R.M. and mixed farming.

He lived his whole life in the High Tor District. His many hobbies included hunting, hunting and HUNTING! Besides hunting, his next love was telling hunting stories. Other hobbies included cards, music and horn carving. Cliff also loved gardening, canning and baking with his wife, Joyce.

He had a great passion for family, friends and community. He was a strong advocate for wildlife preservation and belonged to the Piwei Fish and Game League most of his life. He taught a hunter’s safety course for many years and enjoyed taking first time hunter’s into the field. He enjoyed many years of bird watching with his friend Don Forbes.

Clifford was predeceased by his parents: Lloyd and Bella; his brothers: Bert and Kenneth (Leila); his sisters: Shirley and Gladys (Ole); and his nephew Terry.

Forever loved and remembered by his loving wife Joyce of 69 years; his children Clinton (Margret); Cindy (Murray); Phyllis (Jerry); and Kevin; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother, Norman (Lois) and his numerous nieces, nephews and his many friends.
