Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Pat Harris can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Pat Harris

Pat was born September 10, 1946 at Carragana Outpost. She was the youngest of three born to Stanley and Katherine Konchokowski. Pat attended school in Porcupine Plain. She went on to take her hairdressing in Winnipeg at Marvel. After completing her schooling she came back to Porcupine and had her own hairdressing business. She met the love of her life in April 1969 on a double date with friends Marvin and Georgina. On July 11, 1970 they were married. They went on to do lots of travelling and had a very adventurous life. In 1986 they were blessed with their daughter Ashley to complete their family. Pat loved to watch her daughter play hockey and was always her biggest fan. She and Ken opened up their shop in Weekes “Ye old gift and variety shop.” Pat enjoyed her shop and visiting with the community.
Pat enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, knitting, needle point and was very talented and creative. She was an exceptional cook, which she learned from her mother. She loved to talk to numerous family and friends on the phone sharing recipes and memories. She was a true friend who was incredibly passionate about the things in her life. Pat sold Avon for years and enjoyed all the people she met along the way. She was a devoted grandmother, mother and wife. Pat will be deeply missed, but all her achievements and love will never be forgotten.
Pat was predeceased by her father Stanley; mother Katherine; father-in-law Art Harris; mother-in-law Eva Harris; and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband Ken; daughter Ashley; grandchildren: Deelya, Sierra, Jaxon; brother Ed Konchokowski; sister Bernice (Wayne) Wearing sisters-in-law Debbie (Bernie) Basarab, Janice (Clarence) Osecki, Karen (Darrel) Burkowsky and Belinda Harris; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
