Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Brenda Drechsler can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Brenda Lee Drechsler (Hardy)

Brenda Lee Drechsler (Hardy) was born on September 11, 1958 in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan to parents Shirley (Grant) and Alvin Hardy. Brenda received her education in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan and grew up in Etomami, Saskatchewan.
On July 5, 1974, Brenda married Jack Frank Drechsler. Together the couple were blessed with three children: Cory Douglas, Jody Justin and Rebecca Nicole.
Brenda was a hard worker on the farm alongside Jack. She worked as a special care aid at the Hudson Bay Hospital for many years. She also drove school bus for the Hudson Bay Northeast School Division, and worked for SaskForest Products. Brenda enjoyed curling, golfing, snowmobiling, fishing and camping.
Brenda was predeceased by her father Alvin Hardy; father-in-law Donald Drechsler; and granddaughter Presley.
Left to cherish Brenda’s memory is her loving husband of 44 years Jack Drechsler; children: Cory (Jackie) Drechsler, Jody (Crystal) Drechsler and Rebecca (Clayton) Taylorson; grandchildren: Austin, Deidra, Desarai, Emily, Bailey, Jayla, Londyn, Drexler and Rusty; mother Shirley Hardy; sisters Karen (Tamela) Hardy and Lori (Terry) Berg; mother-in-law Betty Drechsler; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
