Obituary for Frank Albert Scott

Frank Scott was born October 17, 1940 in Nipawin, SK to parents Evelyn and Clifford Scott.
Frank went to school to grade eight, then he worked for different farmers in the community. He worked in the summer for Forseyth, moving houses and trailers for two years. In the winter, he worked in Prince George, BC. He also worked in Nipawin, SK for a John Deere dealer for six years. In 1965, Simpson Timber opened a mill in Hudson Bay, SK where Frank worked for twenty-five years until they closed in 1990. After the mill closed, he worked at different jobs until his retirement.
On August 26, 1967, Frank married Virginia Harris. In February 1971, their son Brent was born.
Frank always enjoyed the outdoors, playing hockey and ball when he was younger. Later in his life Frank enjoyed: golf, quading, biking, gardening, camping and ski-dooing.
Frank was a very outgoing person with many friends and was easily able to strike up a conversation with all he met. He always enjoyed going for coffee, visiting and helping friends anytime he could.
Frank provided a great life for his family, being there to provide assistance, advice, a helping hand and was ready to go the extra mile to do whatever was needed. For years the Scotts enjoyed their comfortable home and gardens on their acreage near town. Not only were the outdoor activities special, but occasions such as Christmas and Birthdays were made extra special because of him.
With his passing Frank leaves to mourn his wife Virginia; son Brent of Calgary, AB; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Glenn and Simone Harris; sister Pat Barrett of Saskatoon, SK; nephew Anthony (Dana); niece Andrea (Shawn).
