Obituary for James "Allan" Lundy

James “Allan” Lundy was born March 31st, 1950 in Smeaton, Saskatchewan to parents James and Rita Lundy. Allan grew up and received his education in Smeaton, Saskatchewan.
On November 8th, 1969, Allan married Rosalee Riddoch and together they had two children Brain and Blaine.
In 1966, Allan enlisted in the army; serving until 1969. He worked at Starlite Service, then for South construction building roads. In 1970 he started at MacMillan Bloedel as a labourer and became a heavy duty mechanic. He worked at Weyerhaeuser as a maintenance supervisor until retirement.
Allan was a coach in minor hockey and baseball. He also umpired for many years. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid curler. Family was #1 to Allan and he checked on them daily.
He especially enjoyed Christmas with his family and friends. Camping at McBride Lake and taking sunset cruises in his boat was something he cherished. In his retirement he loved to go coffeeing with his friends.
Allan was predeceased by his parents James and Rita Lundy; brothers: Russell Lundy, Gerald Lundy and Elmer Lundy; sisters: Geraldine Lundy, Darlene Hardy, Lorraine White and Louise Zimmer; parents-in-law George and Rea Riddoch; brothers-in-law Bob Zimmer and Robert Riddoch.
Left to cherish Allan’s memory is his wife Rosalee Lundy; sons Brain (Pierrita) Lundy and Blaine (Tierra) Lundy; grandchildren: Sierra, Conner, Kaiden, Kingston; brother Norman (Monika) Lundy; sister Faye (Allan) Lindberg; in-laws: Neal Hardy, Marline Kovach, Larry White, Allan (Judy) Riddoch, Richard Riddoch, David (Marie) Riddoch; best pal “Billy”; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
