Obituary for
Leonard Langdon
Leonard Fred Langdon was born on March 28th, 1928 in Browning, Saskatchewan to parents Cecil and Helen Langon. In 1937, he moved onto the Langdon Homestead near Clemenceau, Saskatchewan with his parents and siblings. At a young age he helped provide for his family with numerous jobs.
In the summer of 1953, Leonard met his favorite "cookie" and the love of his life Bernice Tilbert, while working for Acorn construction - where Bernice was the Cook-ie. On September 16th, 1954 the couple married in Melfort, Saskatchewan. Together the couple was blessed with three children: Joy, Garth and Katherine.
Leonard worked with Simpson Timber for 21 Years, while farming in the Weekes area. In his spare time, Leonard enjoyed: farming, tinkering, fishing, reading and hunting. He especially was fond of the time he got to spend with his family on their annual summer trips.
Leonard was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Red Deer Tractor Club.
Leonard was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Helen; sisters: Phyllis, Mrtyle, Evelyn, Florence, and Gerty; brother Melvin; brothers-in-law: Raymond, Gabe, Earl, Alfred, Ellis, Herb and Leonard; sister-in-law Rita.
Left to cherish Leonard's memory is his wife Bernice; children: Joy, Garth (Margaret) and Katherine (Dwight); grandchildren: Angela and her child Tyrinn, Chad and his children Ronin and Greyson, Garett (Kristen) and their children Alex and Aurora, Blane (Jessie), and their child Kyra, Preston (Melissa), and his children Pheonix, Deelya, and Dominic, Meghan (Kyle), Breanne and Rashenna; sisters: Verna, Lilian (Bert) and Leona; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
