Obituary for
Bob Duenk
Bob Gerhard Jan was born December 7, 1945 in Dinxperlo, Holland to parents John and Lisa Duenk. They lived in Holland until Bob was 7 years old, then moved to Cookstown, Ontario and eventually to Leamington, Ontario where Bob grew up and completed his education.
Bob first started in the army for two years, then made a living fishing in Ontario for two years, before working at Chrysler for a couple years, and then finally working on the oil rigs in Alberta. Bob had five children before he met and married Valerie Deyneka, on December 19, 1992 in which he also became a step father to Valerie’s two children. In December, 2004 they moved to Kelvington, Saskatchewan where they made it their home.
Over the years Bob belonged to many organizations and clubs, including the Disciple Christian Motorcycle Club. His favorite hobbies included fishing, being outside riding on his trike, or playing elaborate computer games with people from all over the world. He loved technology, and spent countless hours building computers. He also had a love for his three pet dogs they had over the years; Emma, Bootsie, and Bella.
Bob was predeceased by his parents: John and Liza Duenk.
Bob is survived by wife Valerie Duenk of Kelvington, SK; His 5 children Andrea Mallet of British Columbia, Jason (Lorah) Duenk of Calgary, ALB, Jeremy (Jaclyn) Duenk of Mission, B.C., Jolene Sommer of Edson, ALB, and Janelle (Matthew) Sparrow of Camp Point, Illinois, USA.; His two stepchildren Tracy Gnip of Saskatoon, SK, and Cory Gnip of Edmonton, ALB;
Brother: John (Christine) Duenk Jr. Of Windsor, Ontario; He also cherished his 6 Grandchildren.
