Janessa Raechel Pauls was born March 24, 2001 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Wes and Raechel Pauls, the youngest of five children. She was raised in a happy home in Coaldale, Alberta, and moved to Saskatchewan at the age of nine. She loved life on the farm, surrounded by family and her multitude of kittens. After many years of homeschooling, she began attending Bjorkdale School in January of 2017, which quickly became a special community for her.
Janessa was full of life and loved people. Friendly and enthusiastic, she viewed everyone as a friend. Her faith was incredibly important to her, and she shone the light of God in all her interactions. Her lifelong struggle with seizures did not overshadow her joy or dim her smile. She loved animals, movies, dancing, coloring, board games and time with friends and family.
She will be deeply missed by her parents, Wes & Raechel, her brothers Braeden and Josiah, her sisters Bethany and Hannah and sister-in-law Kristen, as well as her grandparents, Henry & Susan Pauls and Henry & Marcella Siemens, aunts, uncles, and many beloved cousins. She has passed from this life to join her much loved grandma, Patricia Siemens, in the presence of her Savior.
