Obituary for Gregory Adams

Gregory Frederick Adams was born on July 28, 1955 to Fred and Pauline Adams. Greg spent the first three years of his life living in Meacham, Sask. with his parents and older sister Dianne. They moved to Prairie River in the fall of 1958, and Greg stayed in the community for the rest of his life.
Greg was a gentle soul with a love for his family, friends, mother nature and all creatures. He always grew a plentiful garden and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Greg spent his life working hard as a farmer, as a welder for the CN, and for many years wielding a power saw in the bush.
Greg married Tem in a civil ceremony in April of 1995 in Hong Kong and they had a church wedding in May of 1995 in the Philippines. She joined him in Prairie River the next year and Greg’s parents, family and friends welcomed Tem in Canada with a gathering party at the Prairie River Community Hall in the fall of 1996. Tem shared his life for 23 years. Austin and Jessie completed the family and Greg had what he had always wanted, a loving wife and two strapping boys.
Greg, Tem and the boys moved to Porcupine Plain in 2009 where he semi-retired. He still tended his garden and yard plus did some custom yard work. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends, going for walks and especially spending time with his family.
Greg passed from this life on March 1, 2018 at the Royal University Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Pauline Adams.
He is survived by his loving wife Tem, sons Austin and Jesse, sisters Dianne and Cindy, brother-in-law Brian, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Greg will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
