Obituary for Eulilla Maureen Stretten (Stankie)

Eulilla Maureen Stretten was born on August 28, 1944 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan to parents Clarance Stankie and Ethel Stankie (nee Hobbs). Eulilla grew up near Brock, Saskatchewan. She began school in Brock and completed her education in Rosetown, Saskatchewan.
Eulilla married Terry Stretten on February 14, 1990. To their union in marriage joined Eulilla’s children, daughter Lolita, son Edwin, daughter Jane (Wanetta), and their family was completed with daughter Ashton.
As a young woman Eulilla was employed as a telephone switch operator. Eulilla loved to read, work on word puzzles and had a love for embroidery. She also enjoyed attending garage sales and listening to country music.
Eulilla was predeceased by her mother and father, infant son Randy, brother John Stankie, and sisters: Jewel Clendening and Clarice Mann.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Terry Stretten, son Edwin Laird, daughters: Lolita Laird, Jane (Chris) Dunlop, and Ashton Stretten (Jason Kipling), grandchildren: Connar, Cassondra, Cameron, Janessa, Zoey, Talon and Fredrick, sisters: Betty and Sophia, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
