Obituary for Michael Robert Kryzanowski

Michael was born to Helen (Chapman) and Mike Kryzanowski on September 5th, 1957 in Porcupine Plain. Michael grew up on the family farm where he learned to hunt, fish and trap… hobbies that not only became a career but life long passions. Michael completed his schooling at Porcupine Plain, graduating in 1975. In 1981, Michael enrolled in the Renewable Resources Technology Program at SIAST in Saskatoon, graduating in 1983. Starting in the Fall of 1983, Michael began his long career as a Conservation Officer in Moose Jaw, Sk. Through the years, Michael was posted to Rowan's Ravine, Wollaston Lake, Stony Rapids & finally Melfort. It was in Melfort that Michael met the love of his life and partner for more than 18 years, Sandi Black. After 20 years in uniform, Michael left his Conservation Officer position and became a Wildlife Specialist with the Provincial Wildlife Branch in Prince Albert, SK. He continued his duties with the department until medical issues forced him to leave his work in 2012. Michael loved hunting and the outdoors, engaging in his passion as much as his ill health allowed him to. He loved playing name that tune with Sandi, his Step daughter Cheryl, & Granddaughter Belen (he was the undefeated champ!!), also sharing the hobbies of metal detecting and magnet fishing with them. He also loved to brag about his granddaughter Belen's artwork and how good she was in school. Michael loved going to the cabin in the RM of Porcupine Plain and was able to do that one last time on May 12th, 2017. Michael passed suddenly from this life on May 13th, 2017 at his beloved cabin in the woods with Sandi by his side.
Michael was predeceased by his Father, Mike Kryzanowski, Uncles: Bob Chapman and Ken Chapman, Aunt Ruth (Chapman) LeGare and both maternal & paternal Grandparents. He is survived by his wife and partner of 18 years, Sandi Black; Step daughter Cheryl Delgadillo; Granddaughter Belen Delgadillo; his best fur friend, Penny; Mother Helen Kryzanowski; Sister Connie (David) Stianson and their Daughters Janine (Colin) Fraser and Lindsay Stianson; Brother Alan (Kym) Kryzanowski along with numerous relatives and friends.
