Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Henrietta "Etta" Clark can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Henrietta "Etta" "Etta" Clark (Jacobsen)

Henrietta “Etta” Clark (nee Jacobsen) was born on August 9th, 1917 at Section 36-36-10, W2, Saskatchewan, Northeast of Nut Mountain. She was the fourth child born to parents John and Elizabeth Jacobsen. Etta grew up in the Nut Mountain District, and received her education at the Oxford Centre School.
On July 12th, 1944, Etta married Bill Clark in Nut Mountain. Together the couple was blessed with three children: Connie, Larry and Heather.
Etta was a member of the Agricultural Society, the Co-op Guild, the Afternoon Circle of United Church, the Senior’s Club, and the Lodge Auxiliary, also the United Church Board.
Etta loved to sew and sewed Heather’s grad dress and wedding dress (as well as other grad dresses for girls in the community). She enjoyed curling, and later took up golfing and bowling. Etta also enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and baking. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and Etta was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and members of her community.
Etta was predeceased by her husband Bill of 52 years; parents John and Elizabeth; her brothers: Ned (Agnes), Pete (Doreen), Harry (Kay), and John; sister Elizabeth (Gordon); Bill’s parents Alexander and Agnes; Bill’s siblings: Jim (Tina), Robert (Winnie), Fanny (Albert), Eva (Jim), Alexander, Mabel (Andy) and Hazel (Knud).
She leaves to mourn her daughter Connie (Oliver) Prouse; son Larry (Gale) Clark; daughter Heather (Delore) Cayen; grandchildren: Wade (Nadine) Prouse and their children Jaxon, Luke and Sawyer, Dale (Crystal) Prouse and their children Mason, Mackenzie and Riley, Ryan (Tammy) Prouse and their daughter Lexi, Greg (Kali) Cayen and their children Dawson and Kendall, and Mark Cayen (Matt); sister-in-law Florence Clark, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
