Victor Joseph Darbyshire was born on August 22nd, 1927 in Garland, Manitoba. He was one of eight children born to parents Jack and Anna Darbyshire. He grew up on the family farm near Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, and spent most the majority of his life working at MacMillan Bloedel.
Victor married Emma Sommerfeld on August 14th, 1950 in Salt Coats, Saskatchewan. The couple was blessed with five children: Leroy, Delores, Laura, Debbie, and Jack.
In his spare time, Victor enjoyed the outdoors: fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed carpentry.
Victor is predeceased by his wife Emma Darbyshire; daughter Vicky; brother John Darbyshire; sisters: Elsie Yanke; Deanna Trottier, and Anna Mae Fredricks.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Leroy Darbyshire of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Delores (Carman) Listol of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Laura Darbyshire of Winnepeg, Manitoba, Debbie (Neil) VanNes of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, and Jack (Sandy) Darbyshire of Pelican Lake, Saskatchewan; grandchildren: Tina, Bruce, Tammy, Tracey, Angela, Vincent, Lisa, Crystal, Melissa, and Jamie; great-grandchildren: Hanna, Larissa, Taylor, Rayelle, Carver, Jordan, Blaise, Caitlyn, Haley, Chase, Camdyn, Jagger, Regan, and Kohl; siblings: Roy (Norma) Darbyshire of Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Edgar Darbyshire of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, and Muriel Ulm of Calgary, Alberta; along with numerous relatives and friends.
