The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Klassen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: So sorry to read of the passing of John, I worked with him for many years at Simpson Timber, we were on the same shift for years. He was a good friend I will never forget his favourite saying (cotton picking) no matter how bad the job was at the time,he worked with people that swore all the time and that was his go to phrase. My deepest sympathy to the Klassen family.
PS. I remember when his girls were young he told me that he got talked into shopping with Linda and his three girls in a clothing store and they would tip every piece that was in the bin over,walk away and go back just in case they missed something, he said he felt sorry for the staff. I
always remembered that as I also had three girls and went through the same thing (smiling in the background). I am sorry that I missed his funeral.
