Obituary for Violet Rose Anaka (Guderyan)

Violet Rose Anaka (Guderyan) was born Wednesday, March 13th, 1946 to parents Alex and Mary Guderyan. She received her education in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan.
On Friday, May 7th, 1965, Violet was engaged to George Anaka, and they were married on Saturday, October 2nd, 1965. To this union, two children were born.
Violet devoted her early years to raising their family in Hudson Bay, Churchill, and Melville. Violet was active within the communities in which they lived. No matter where she lived, she enjoyed gardening, picking berries, baking, and always had time for a pot of coffee with friends.
A transition to live at McBride Lake was complete in 2002, where she and George had many wonderful days with their treasured grandchildren. Violet enjoyed watching them develop a life long appreciation of nature.
Violet was predeceased by her father Alex (1981); mother Mary (2000); brothers Alfred (1945), and Leonard (1945); sister-in-law Pat Guderyan (2014); and brother-in-law John Dyck (2012).
Left to cherish Violet’s memory is her husband George; children Darren (Donna) Anaka, and Lana (Colin) Franklin; grandchildren: Blake Anaka, Logan Anaka, Brett Franklin, and Madison Franklin. Sisters: Adline Dyck, and Shirley (Don) Foster; brother Harvey Guderyan; along with nieces, nephews, and many close friends, and relatives.
