Cathy Dawn Collins (nee Townsend) was born on February 13th, 1962 in Regina, Saskatchewan to parents Douglas and Irene Townsend. Cathy grew up and received her education in Preeceville, Saskatchewan. After graduation, Cathy went onto secondary school at the University of Regina.
Cathy was blessed with a daughter Brittany, in 1985 . Cathy married Stephen Collins on October 19th, 2006, and was happy when she got to add step-daughter Jennifer, and step-son David into her life.
She worked for the District of Chetwynd, in British Columbia. Cathy enjoyed spending her time gardening, camping, kayaking, and bowling.
Cathy is predeceased by her parents Douglas and Irene Townsend; mother-in-law and father-in-law Peggy and Clayton Collins; and sister-in-law Linda.
Left to cherish Cathy’s memory is her husband Stephen Collins; daughter Brittany (Chad); step-daughter Jennifer (Ryan); step-son David; grand-children: Chase, Hayden, Teigan, and Reid; sister Terri; brothers: Elden (Lorna), Murray (Merle) and Doug; foster-brother Lawrence; along with numerous nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
