Madeline Reid was born on May 23rd, 1951 in Rose Valley, SK to parents Alexander and Lucia Rondeau. Madeline grew up in the Nora district attending school in Archerwill, SK, before moving to Abbotsford, BC in her mid-teens where she completed her education.
Madeline met Gerald Reid, and the couple married February 20, 1971 in Hudson Bay, SK. To this union, was blessed four children: Kevin Dwayne (1971), Christopher Lee (1973), Jodie Louise (1980), Rebecca Rose (1988).
Madeline spend over 25 years caring for others with Pasqua Health Region in Hudson Bay, SK as a Certified Care Aid. She belonged to the Hudson Bay Figure Skating Club and enjoyed helping with her children’s ball teams.
Madeline enjoyed gardening, she also loved to help others. At holidays she would always take meals to other people around the community who did not have.
Madeline was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Lucia Rondeau; son Kevin; three brothers (at an early age) and sister Louise Maerz.
Left to cherish Madeline’s memory is her husband Gerald; children: Chris (Stacey), Jodie (Bryan) and Becky (Tyler); grandchildren Avery and Jack; siblings: Mabel (Murray) Banks, Florence Van Leewan; Louella (Luke) Hadders, Aline Wira, Jerome Rondeau. Donald (Evelyn) Rondeau, Marti (Ron) Young, Albert (Margaret) Rondeau, Yvonne (Ed) Antonishyn, Rose (Ray) Brakefield, Lyle Maerz, Josie Murray, Marcel Rondeau, and Diana (P.J.) Besaw; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
