Bill Nowosad was born to Mike and Katie Nowosad in Shoal Lake, Manitoba on July 1, 1939. Bill was raised in Grandview, Manitoba where he completed his schooling and developed his passion for playing competitive hockey. He went on to become a meteorological technician, completing his training in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1960, he married his wife of 52 years, Margaret. Together Bill and Margaret have three children. Bill’s greatest pleasures in life were hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends, telling stories, and listening to music.
Bill was predeceased by Mike and Katie Nowosad and various aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bill is survived by his wife Margaret Nowosad and their children; Danny (Sandy) Nowosad, Glenn (Darlene) Nowosad, and Christine (Tom) Laverty; grandchildren Kristen (Shari) Nowosad, Courtney (Jason) Laverty, Jordan Laverty, Ashley Nowosad, Nicholas Nowosad, Matthew Nowosad, and Adam Nowosad.
