Obituary for
Flesjer Otis
Otis was born and raised on his parents farm in the Plainview District. He received his schooling in the Plainview and Beaver Dale Districts, and completed his schooling at Crewkerne. Otis moved to Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan and worked for the Simpson Timber Board until the mill was shut down. Once it closed Otis decided to retire. He enjoyed visiting the family farm and having coffee with friends, but most of all he loved his grandchildren. Crystal was his favorite because whenever they visited, Crystal would climb up on Otis’s knee and say “Grandpa do you got a Buck”. Otis would laugh and find a dollar to give her. He loved his family and cherished every one of them. Otis was predeceased by his parents, Orlando and Matilda (nee Wing) Flesjer; five brothers, Carl in infancy, Morris, Lyle, Ilert and Lovern; two sisters: Pearl Kovalanch and Evelyn Hahn; and Granddaughter Victoria Nashacappo. He leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life, sons, David Flesjer, and Jeff Flesjer of Regina; daughter Jennifer Flesjer of Regina; granddaughters: Crystal, Melissa, Samantha, and Brittany Nashacappo all of Saskatoon; grandson Daniel Nashacappo of Saskatoon; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
